Featured teacher

The Featured teacher badge shows on the profile and in search, where you can filter by Featured. Featured teachers also move up a little in the Recommended order. It can’t be paid for.

It’s checked every day using the last 90 days. All of these are required:

• Verified identity.
• Profile reviewed and approved for the directory.
• At least 20 lessons taught.
• Average rating of 4.7 or more from at least 5 reviews.
• Fewer than 5% of lessons cancelled by the teacher.
• Replies to 80% of students’ messages within 24 hours (if there are still few messages, this doesn’t count).

If you teach: in Profile you can see how you’re doing on each requirement. We’ll email you when you get the badge. If you stop meeting one, it’s removed the next day and comes back as soon as you meet them again.
