Teaching on other platforms too
You can use NowLesson alongside other platforms. First, check their terms: many don’t allow you to teach or take payments directly from students you met there outside the platform. NowLesson is for your own students and for the ones who find you here: don’t invite students you teach through another platform if its terms don’t allow it.
Avoid overlapping lessons
Connect Google Calendar in Settings: any time that’s busy there stops being offered as a free slot in NowLesson, and your NowLesson lessons show up in Google.
What your lessons look like in Google
- The events NowLesson creates only include the student’s name and the time, with no description or links, so no other student details end up in your calendar.
- If you share your calendar with other people or services, check Show my lessons as “Busy” in Google: they’ll see the time is taken, without the student’s name.
- If you subscribe to your NowLesson calendar (Settings → Your lessons in your calendar), you’ll see every lesson there with all its details.
