Refunds for lessons not taken

A student can request a refund for paid lessons they haven’t taken.

For students

In Buy, next to your purchase, click “Request a refund” and say how many lessons. Your teacher has 7 days to respond; if they don’t, we’ll let you know your options.

For teachers

You’ll see the request in Payments. When you accept:

• Stripe payments: the proportional amount is refunded from your Stripe account and those lessons are removed.
• Direct payments: refund it yourself using the same method and click “I’ve already refunded it”.

The money never goes through NowLesson.
